"A Trailblazer is a person who is looking for a personal adventure in a leadership role. Trailblazers challenge themselves to step outside their 'comfort zone' and learn more about life, the wilderness, Canada, English and their personal abilities."
Trailblazers is a one-of-a-kind program that not only provides students with English skills that are necessary for success in today’s modern world, but also takes students into the beautiful wilderness that British Columbia has to offer. In addition to their morning ESL studies, students will learn leadership and the basics of outdoor survival and then put those skills to the test; this program is designed to challenge the students’ abilities both physically and mentally while still having a great time doing so!
Trailblazers provides students the opportunity for a real Canadian camping experience. During the program, students will enjoy a three-day / two-night hike into the Canadian wilderness and will develop communication, teamwork and leadership skills as they work together to prepare and embark on this wonderful trip. Students will also go on a three-day / two-night kayaking trip and experience camping in the wilderness via kayaks. Additionally, students will get the opportunity to participate in other amazing activities with their new-found friends around the world. Truly this will be an experience that will stay with them forever!
